We’re Tarah and Jeff, the proud owners of Piebald Mountain. Our story began in 2nd grade, when we first met as kids. Life took us in different directions, but in our 50s, we reconnected and discovered we shared a dream of living in a quiet town with a breathtaking mountain view. That dream became real when we found a property that had everything we were looking for—a peaceful setting, stunning views, and a sense of serenity. During three visits, a beautiful piebald deer greeted us, inspiring the name “Piebald Mountain.”

By 2026, we will be building our dream getaway—an A-frame cabin. Meanwhile, we’re sharing the beauty of the property by offering a well-equipped bell tent for those seeking a unique escape. Piebald Mountain is our little haven, where we wake up to mountain beauty and create new memories. We’re excited to share our journey, love of nature, and the magic of Piebald Mountain with you.
